Big Boy Tomato: $4.00

A classic large, red tomato. These regularly weigh anywhere from 10-15 oz when fully ripe. Big Boys are perfect slicing tomatoes. These plants also produce a lot of tomatoes in a given season, so a single plant can go a long way. You will continue to get ripe tomatoes from this plant until the first frost of fall!
Ace 55 Tomato: $3.00

A medium-sized determinate red tomato. This is a bushing tomato which does incredibly well in containers, but it will do just as well if planted directly into the ground. These tomatoes are low in acidity, great for slicing and canning!
Black Prince Tomato: $4.00

This is a medium/large heirloom tomato variety. It is known for its unique reddish-brown color. These are sweet and rich in flavor, with a slight hint of smokiness. They are quite versatile in the kitchen, as they go great in salads, sandwiches, and when cooked with other food, they serve as an excellent natural marinade. Originating from Siberia, this variety is very cold—tolerant, so you can bet they will probably be the last summer crop to still be producing in your garden even in the middle of fall!
Cherry Tomato: $3.00

These tomatoes are very small, red, and quite sweet. Cherry tomatoes are fantastic in salads, or a bowl of them alone would make an excellent healthy snack. A single cherry tomato plant could potentially grow as tall as 6-8 feet if it has something that height to climb. One plant could very well provide 100 tomatoes in a given season!
Gold Nugget: $3.00

As the name suggests, this tomato is small and gold in color. These are very sweet and excellent for snacking! This is a determinate variety of tomato, meaning it will produce a set amount of fruit before it stops. Because this is a bushing variety, you typically don’t need to provide a stake for support. Another benefit of these is that as a bushing tomato plant, they are ideal candidates for pots or containers and a great option for people with limited or no yard space for a garden.
Roma Tomato: $3.00

A classic, medium-sized tomato, which is popular for making sauce and canning! This is a determinate variety of tomato, so it will produce a set amount of fruit in a given season.
Bell Pepper: $3.50

An extremely versatile vegetable, these peppers are known for their sweet and mild flavor. They can be used in salads, stir-fries, or can be stuffed, just to name a few methods of preparation.
They come in a myriad of colors- this year we have purple, green, yellow, and diamond. Diamond Bell peppers start out white/translucent and morph into several different colors on their way to red eventually. It is important to note that you can eat these peppers at any stage of maturity; in other words, unlike other vegetables and fruits which can make you sick if you eat them before they fully ripen, you can consume a Bell pepper at any point in its ripening process. Just keep in mind, it will taste more earthy earlier in the process, and the longer it stays on the plant, the sweeter it will get!
Sweet Banana Pepper: $3.00

These are sweet, approachable peppers. They go great in salads and are excellent candidates for pickling. Banana pepper plants tend to be prolific in terms of their production, so it is very much within the realm of possibility for a single plant to provide more than 50 peppers in a given season!
Sweet Basil: $2.50

This herb is a staple in many kitchens across the world. With its fragrance and flavor, it has the ability to boost all kinds of dishes, especially Italian ones. This can be grown in an in-ground garden or a raised bed, but it is great for small containers, and does very well indoors, so long as it gets a lot of sunlight!
Parsley: $2.50

This is a very popular herb, native to the Mediterranean. It is known for its bright, slightly bitter taste. Parsley is commonly used as a garnish, but is also often used in soups, salads, and stews.
Chives: 2.50

This is an herb that is part of the onion family, although its flavor is much milder than an onion. These are great for flavoring eggs, salads, soups, and dips. Chives are a perennial type of plant, which means once you plant them, they will keep coming back every year, at least for a while!
